MiMi Easter Bunny





Materials  

Yarn needle  

Polyester fiberfill 

Crochet hook G-4.0 mm

Safety eyes- 6mm

Safety Nose

Yarn-Any Medium Weight Yarn, I used Sweet Roll

 

Legs-Make 2

You may want to use a st marker.

Rnd 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in second ch. (6 st’s) 

Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st.  (12 st’s)

Rnd 3: 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (18 st’s)

Rnd 4:  1 sc in next 6 st’s, 3 dec, sc in next 6 st’s. (15 sts)

Rnd 5: 1 sc in next 5 st’s, dec, 1 sc, dec, sc in next 5 st’s. (13 st’s) 

Rnd 6: 1 sc in next 5 st’s, dec 3 st’s together, sc in next 5 st’s. (11 sts) This is a great time to stuff.

Rnd 7: 1 sc in next 5 st’s, 2 sc in next st, sc in next 4 st’s, 2 sc in next st. (13)

Rnd 8: 1 sc in next 4 st’s, 2 sc in next st, sc in next 4 st’s, 2 sc in next st, sc in last 3 st’s. (15)

Rnd 9-26: 1 sc in each st. (15 st) Change to fluffy yarn.

Once you have both legs you can continue. Make sure to turn legs slightly so feet point out.  Now sl st both legs together, now work 28 sc across both legs.


Body

Rnd 28: 1 sc in next 6 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (32st’s)

Rnd 29: 1 sc in next 7 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (36 st’s)

Rnd 30-31: 1 sc in each st. (36 st’s)

Rnd 32: 1 sc in next 8 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (40 st’s)

Rnd 33: 1 sc in next 9 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (44 st’s)

Rnd 34-38: 1 sc in each st. (44 st’s)

Rnd 39: 1 sc in next 9 st’s, dec sc in next st, repeat to end. (40 st’s)

Rnd 40-41: 1 sc in each st. (40 st’s)

Rnd 42: 1 sc in next 8 st’s, dec sc in next st, repeat to end. (36 st’s)

Rnd 43-44: 1 sc in each st. (36 st’s)

Rnd 45: 1 sc in next 7 st’s, dec sc in next st, repeat to end. (32 st’s)

Rnd 5: 1 sc in next 2 st’s, dec in next st, repeat to end. (12 st’s)

Rnd 6: 1 sc in next st, dec in next st, repeat to end. (8 st’s)

Rnd 7-8: 1 sc in each st.  (8 st’s)

Rnd 9: 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (12 st’s)

Rnd 10-35: 1 sc in each st.  (12 st’s) Finish off and sew on to body.

 

Head

Rnd 5: 1 sc in next 3 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (20 st’s)

Rnd 6: 1 sc in next 4 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (24 st’s)

Note: Put eyes between rnd 17 and 18, 10 st’s away from each other.

Rnd 21: 1 sc in next 8 st’s, dec in next st, repeat to end. (36 st’s)

Rnd 22: 1 sc in next 7 st’s, dec in next st, repeat to end. (32 st’s)

Rnd 23: 1 sc in next 6 st’s, dec in next st, repeat to end. (28 st’s)

Rnd 24: 1 sc in next 5 st’s, dec in next st, repeat to end. (24 st’s)

Rnd 25: 1 sc in next 4 st’s, dec in next st, repeat to end. (20 st’s)

Sew head on to body.

 

EAR (make 2)

Ch 5.

Row 1: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of ch.  Turn.  4 sc.

Row 2: Ch 1. 2 sc in first sc. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. 2 sc in last sc. Turn. 6 sc.

Rows 3-4: Ch 1.  1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn.

Row 5: Ch 1.  2 sc in first sc.  1 sc in each of next 4 sc. 2 sc in last sc. Turn. 8 sc.

Rows 6-7: As 3rd and 4th rows.

Row 8: Ch 1.  2 sc in first sc.  1 sc in each of next 8 sc. 2 sc in last sc. Turn. 10 sc.

Rows 9-20: Ch 1.  1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn.

Row 21: Ch 1. Sc2tog. 1 sc in each of next 6 sc. Sc2tog. Turn. 8 sts.

Row 22:  Ch 1.  Sc2tog.  1 sc in each of next 4 sc. Sc2tog. Turn. 6 sts.

Row 23: Ch 1. Sc2tog. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc.  Sc2tog.  Turn.  4 sts.

Row 24:  Ch 1.  (Sc2tog) twice.  Fasten off.

 

Edging:

Ch 1. Work sc evenly around ear. Fasten off. Leave long tail for sewing. Now enjoy.
