What You Need

Hook D 3.25

Yarn- any of your choices- I used Red Heart Ombre Sweet Treat

Cup Size (Make 2)

Ch 5 join

Round 1: Ch3(count as 1 sc) into the ring 2 sc, 2 ch, 3 sc, 2 ch, 3 sc, 2 ch and sl st into the 1st ch 3.

Round 2: Ch 1, 1 sc in to each sc, 2 sc, ch 2, 2 sc in to each ch space, repeat this to achieve your desired size triangle.

Once you have your triangles the size you need you are going to attach them together with sc.

Ch 50, then attach to the corner of the triangle and sc across while attaching the other triangle once at the corner of other triangle ch 50 for other side then ch 1 turn and repeat until you get the length you want.

Straps

Now attach your yarn to the top of the cup by starting at the middle point and 3 st away, then count out 7 st’s ch 1 turn and repeat making strap as long as you want. Repeat this for the other cup.

Now you ch 250 and weave in and out of both sides of the back. Now enjoy.

Legs Make 2

With Gray, Ch 4 Join 6 sc in ring.

Round 1: 2 sc in each st. Sl st in end. (12)

Round 2: 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, Sl st in end. (18)

Round 3: 1 sc in each st in (BLO). Change to Purple

Round 4-10: 1 sc in each st. (18)

 

Body

Round 11: Ch 1, 1 sc in next 18 st’s, ch 4, with other leg count out 18 st’s, and attach to other leg with sc, 1 sc in all st’s left join at end. (44)

Round 12-30: 1 sc in each st, Do Not Join (40)

Round 31: 1 sc in next 9 st’s, 1 sc dec in next st, repeat to end. (40)

Round 32: 1 sc in next 8 st’s, 1 sc dec in next st, repeat to end. (36)

Round 33: 1 sc in next 7 st’s, 1 sc dec in next st, repeat to end. (32)

Round 34: 1 sc in next 6 st’s, 1 sc dec in next st, repeat to end. (28)

Round 35: 1 sc in next 5 st’s, 1 sc dec in next st, repeat to end. (24)

With long tail sew hole together and leave long tail for sewing.

Arms (make 2)

Ch 2, join

Round 1: 4 sc in ring, do not join, mark last st made with a stitch marker.

Round 2: 2 sc in each st. (8 sts)

Round 3: 1sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (12 sts)

Round 4: 1sc in next st, 1dec in next st, repeat to end. (8 sts)

Round 5-13: sc in each st around. Fasten off leaving a 10"/25.5cm tail.

Sew ears and arm on to cat and enjoy

Band
Ch 17

Row 1. Sc in each st. (16)

Row 2. Ch 1, 1 sc in each st in back loops only. Continue with rows 1-2 until band fits around your waist without stretching. Once done slip st together and turn inside out. (162)

Body OF Shorts
Round 1. Ch 1, sc 162 around. Slip st together.

Round 2. Ch 1, 1 sc in first st, star st around, slip st to end. Put stiches marker where the hips would be, so you know where to increase. Do not start increasing until round 4.
Round 3. Ch 1, 1 sc in each st around.

Repeat round 2-3 1 more times. You will continue to do the pattern until you get to the crotch area. You increase by putting 2 sc where the st marker are.

 

Once you have the length you want you will find the middle and put a stitch marker there, on other side ch 24 (or however many you need to make the crotch part) now you will continue the pattern on the legs.

 

Draw String

Ch 350, weave in and out of band, enjoy shorts.
