Decrease- Take whatever number of st’s you have find what it is divided by and subtract by 2 and that’s how many st’s you make before the decrease.

Pattern

You can make this sweater in any size by measuring your bust size.

Ch as many as you need to cover your chest, using black, I chained 91.

Body (Make 2)

1.   1 sc in each st

2.   Change color, 1 sc dec in back loop only, 1 sc in each back loop, repeat, 1 sc dec at end. Continue until you have covered your chest.

3.   1 sc in to each st and row all the way around.

Straps (Make 2)

Starting a top end of the body you will attach your yarn and sc in back loops only 6 sc or how ever many you need to make your strap as wide as you like. You will continue your pattern back and forth switching in-between colors, making the strap as long as you need. Then attach it to the other side.

Sides (Do this for both sides

If you need to make your top bigger, you will attach your yarn to the bottom corner and chain as many as you need to make your top fit the join to the other side. Then you just need to go back and forth (making sure to which in-between the colors) and sc in the back loops only. (Time on YouTube 6:07:09)

Arms (Make 2)

You will evenly sc around the arm hole and cut yarn. Count out how many st’s you have and ch that amount and join, then switching in-between colors sc in back loops only for 5 rounds and then do a decease round and decrease every 5 rounds. I started with 100 st’s.

Next decrease will be 1 sc in next 18 st’s, sc2 together. (95 st’s)

Next decrease will be 1 sc in next 17 st’s, sc2 together. (90 st’s)

Next decrease will be 1 sc in next 16 st’s, sc2 together. (85 st’s)

Next decrease will be 1 sc in next 15 st’s, sc2 together. (80 st’s)

Next decrease will be 1 sc in next 14 st’s, sc2 together. (75 st’s)

Next decrease will be 1 sc in next 13 st’s, sc2 together. (70 st’s)

Next decrease will be 1 sc in next 12 st’s, sc2 together. (65 st’s)

Next decrease will be 1 sc in next 11st’s, sc2 together. (60 st’s)

Next decrease will be 1 sc in next 10 st’s, sc2 together. (55 st’s)

Next decrease will be 1 sc in next 9 st’s, sc2 together. (50 st’s)

Next decrease will be 1 sc in next 8 st’s, sc2 together. (45 st’s)

Now continue to sc in back loop (no more decreasing) all the way to your wrist.

Finish off. Repeat for other arm and enjoy.
