Pattern

Working in multiples of 3 and then adding 4 more you can make your purse as wide or as short as you want. I chained 42 + 4 more which gave me 46 stitches.

Row 1: 1 dc into each st.

Row 2: Ch 1. dc in next st, 1 fpdc in next post, dc in next 2 st’s, repeat to end.

Row 3: Ch 1, 1 dc in next 2 st’s, 1 fpdc in next 2 post, repeat to end.

Row 4: Repeat rows 2-3. Making purse as tall or long as you want.

Once done you will sew fabric on flat side of purse them fold purse half way up and sc sides together. Now you will add your snaps.

Use this Video to help you with the snaps, start video at 45:06

Last thing to do is make the strap ch 7 turn and sc in each st make strap as long as you want then sew strap to purse.

Water Bottle Holder

I love the simple use of a crochet bottle holder. There are so many people that use water bottles. It doesn’t matter who you are if you have a water bottle you use and you travel. A crochet bottle holder is a great project for yourself, or a to make for some else as a gift.

I was inspired to make this water bottle for my kids to take to school and, as soon as I got started, I had lots of ideas for other styles of bottle holder that I could make, but like all pattern it takes quite a bit of time to get it just right. I always have more ideas than I have time to do! I was able to get started on this crochet bottle holder pattern it’s simple and great for beginners.

This pattern uses the single crochet stitch, which looks so incredible and is quite simple to do. I chose to use my big jug of leftover yarn from big projects since this project will be small and I can save a bit of money. You can do the same if you have any leftover yarn or if you want you can check out my (Crochet Essentials)store to fine new yarn.
