Coral Bunny Hat

You Will Need:

ZZ Twist- Coral and White

Crochet Hook- G 4.0 mm

Scissors

Yarn Needle

Band:

Row 1: ch 13 sc in each st and turn. (12 sc)

Row 2: Sc in each st, turn. (12 sc)

Row 3:  ch 1, sc in each st, back loops only, turn. (12sc)

Row 4: Repeat round 2 until the band fits around your head without stretching. Mines measure 21 ½ inches. Fasten off and leave long tail for sewing.

Hat:

Start with coral ch 50, and 1 more for turning ch.

Row 1: 1 hdc in next ch, *skip next ch, 2 hdc in next ch*, repeat to end, 1 hdc in last ch. (50 st)

Row 2: 1 sc in each st. (50)

Row 3: With white,1 hdc in next st, *skip next st, 2 hdc in between the 2 hdc, repeat to end, 1 hdc in last ch. (50 st)

Row 4: 1 sc in each st. (50)

Row 5: With coral,1 hdc in next st, *skip next st, 2 hdc in next space, repeat to end, 1 hdc in last ch. (50 st)

Row 6: 1 sc in each st. (50)

Now you will repeat row 3-6 until hat is 22 inches.

Pom-Poms: 

You can use cover pom-pom maker, or you can use your hand. Simply wrap around and around your hand until you get enough yarn. Gently pull the yarn off of your hand, wrap another piece around the center of the yarn ball. Tie it tight to secure, cut up both sides. Trim to form. Then weaving in and out of the stitches at the top of the hat and pulling tight, tie on pom-pom, Finish off. Fold up hat and put band around fold of hat and sew on. Enjoy.

Scarf:

Start with coral ch 30, and 1 more for turning ch.

Row 1: 1 hdc in next ch, *skip next ch, 2 hdc in next ch, repeat to end, 1 hdc in last ch. (30 st)

Row 2: 1 sc in each st. (30)

Row 3: With white,1 hdc in next st, *skip next st, 2 hdc in between the 2 hdc, repeat to end, 1 hdc in last ch. (30 st)

Row 4: 1 sc in each st. (30)

Row 5: With coral,1 hdc in next st, *skip next st, 2 hdc in next space, repeat to end, 1 hdc in last ch. (30 st)

Row 6: 1 sc in each st. (30)

Now you will repeat row 3-6 until scarf is as long as you want.

Bunnies:

Start with white ch 8 and 1 for turning ch.

Row 1: 1 sc in each st. (8 st’s)

Row 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 6 st’s, 2 sc in last st’s. (10 st’s)

Row 3: Ch 1, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 8 st’s, 2 sc in last st’s. (12 st’s)

Row 4-8: 1 sc in each st. (12 st’s)

Row 9: Ch 1, 1 sc dec over next 2 st’s, 1 sc in next 8 st’s, 1 sc dec over next 2 st’s. (10 st’s)

Row 10: Ch 1, 1 sc dec over next 2 st’s, 1 sc in next 6 st’s, 1 sc dec over next 2 st’s. (8 st’s)

Row 11: Ch 1, 1 sc dec over next 2 st’s, 1 sc in next 4 st’s, 1 sc dec over next 2 st’s. (6 st’s)

Row 12: Ch 1, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 4 st’s, 2 sc in last st’s. (8 st’s)

Row 13: Ch 1, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 6 st’s, 2 sc in last st’s. (10 st’s)

Row 14-16: 1 sc in each st. (10 st’s)

Row 22-24: 1 tr in next 4 st’s, 1 sl st in next 2 st’s, 1 tr in next 4 st’s. (8 st’s, 2 sl st’s)

Sew bunny on to scarf.
