Note: You do not have to use these colors, you can use what every color you want. Finished Measurements: 52" x 72" White trim goes around each diamond, 1 sc around, make sure to put 3 sc, in each corner of each diamond.

Large Diamonds

Ch 2, turn.

Row 1: 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Turn. (3)

Row 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st st, sc in next st, 2 sc in last st. Turn. (5)

Row 3: Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next 3 st’s, 2 sc in last st. Turn. (7)

Row 4: Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next 5 st’s, 2 sc in last st. Turn. (9)

Row 5: Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next 7 st’s, 2 sc in last st. Turn. (11)

Row 6: Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next 9 st’s, 2 sc in last st. Turn. (13)

Row 7: Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next 11 st’s, 2 sc in last st. Turn. (15)

Small Diamonds

Ch 2, turn.

Row 1: 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Turn.

Row 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st st, sc in next st, 2 sc in last st. Turn.

Row 3: Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next 3 st’s, 2 sc in last st. Turn.

Rows 4-7: Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc to last st, 2 sc in last st-15 Sts. Turn.

Rows 26-31: Ch 1, sc2tog, 1 sc in each st to last 2 Sts, sc2tog. Turn.

Row 32: Sc3tog. Fasten off.

Half Diamonds

Ch 2, turn.

Row 1: 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Turn.

Row 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st st, sc in next st, 2 sc in last st. Turn.

Row 3: Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next 3 st’s, 2 sc in last st. Turn.

Rows 4-7: Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc to last st, 2 sc in last st-15 Sts. Fasten off.

Finish Squares

With trim color, sc around edge of each diamond, working 3 sc into top and bottom points of large diamonds and in each point of small and half diamonds. You can sl st the diamonds together of you can sc them together.

Color pattern

You may use whatever colors you want to make this blanket, but this is what color’s I use to put my blanket together.

24 Large diamonds in each color.

64 Small diamonds in white.

30 Half diamonds in white

Trim Blanket

With white, work 2 Rows around blanket. Weave in all ends. Enjoy.

Love Cupcake

Supplies:

Hook- G/4mm and Hook- C/2.75

Yarn- Red Heart- Any colors you want. I used Cafe Latte, James C Brett Top Value DK - Red and Big Twist Sincerely cupcake Confetti, small amount of black for mouth.

9mm safety eyes,

Bottom of cupcake: Use st marker

Round 1: Ch 3, Join, 6 sc in ring (6)

Round 2: 2 sc in each st (12)

Round 3: 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (18)

Round 4: 1 sc in next 2 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (24)

Round 5: 1 sc in next 3 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (30)

Round 6: 1 sc in next 4 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (36)

Round 7: 1 sc in back loops only (36)

Round 8-14: 1 sc in each st. (36)

Note: You want to add your eyes on round 10, 4 st’s apart. Finish off

         

 

Making The Mouth

 

 

Cupcake Top:

Round 1: Ch 3, join 6 sc in ring (6)

Round 2: 2 sc in each st. (12)

Round 3: 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end.  (18)

Round 4: 1 sc in next 2 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (24)

Round 5: 1 sc in next 3 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (30)

Round 6: 1 sc in next 4 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (36)

Round 7-10: 1 sc in each st. (42)

Round 11: In front loop only 4 hdc in next st, skip next st, slip stitch in next st, repeat to end. Finish off and weave in ends. Apply 12-14 sprinkles on the cupcake top (before you sew on top)using a long running stitch.  The back side will not show. Finish off, leave long tail for sewing.

Heart Cherry: Hook C-2.75 mm

Round 1: Ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook. (4)

Round 2: 2 sc in each st. (8)

Round 3: 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end.  (12)

Round 4: 1 sc in next 2 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end.  (18)

Round 5-6: Sc in each st. Finish off.

Repeat rounds 1-7 to make 2, Do not finish off, leave long tail for sewing.

Now you will continue working using the yarn from the second piece. You will connect both pieces by slip stitching them together. Then working 1 sc around both pieces. (36)

 

Round 7: 1 sc in next 7 st’s, dec in next st, repeat to end. (32)

Round 8: 1 sc in next 6 st’s, dec in next st, repeat to end. (28)

Round 9: 1 sc in next 5 st’s, dec in next st, repeat to end. (24)

Round 10: 1 sc in next 4 st’s, dec in next st, repeat to end. (20)

Round 11: 1 sc in next 3 st’s, dec in next st, repeat to end. (16)

Round 12: 1 sc in next 2 st’s, dec in next st, repeat to end. (12)

Round 13: 1 sc in next st, dec in next st, repeat to end. (8) Stuff heart. Leave long tail for sewing. Finish off. Now you will sew heart to cupcake top.
