What You Need:

Crochet G 4.0 Hook

Yarn Needle

Scissors

Yarn- Any medium weight yarn 2 colors

My 2 colors are a multi-color= M and black= B

Note:
For this project the yarn I use was a little stiff and made the
mandala curl up so I would choose a softer medium weight
yarn or use a smaller hook hook.

 

Pattern:

Round 1: With color M ch 2, 8 sc in second ch from hook. Join to first st. (8)

Round 2: With color M ch 2, 2 sc in each st. (16) Join

Round 3: With color B ch 2, 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st in color M, 1 sc in next st in B, repeat to end. Join with color black.

Round 4:  With B ch 2, 1 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st in M, 2 sc in next st in M, 1 sc in next st in B, repeat to end. Join with B.

Round 5: With M ch 1, 2 sc in next st in M, 1 sc in next st in M, 2 sc in next st in M, 1 sc in next st in B, repeat to end. Join with B.

Round 6: With M ch 1, 2 sc in next st in M, 1 sc in next 3 st’s in M, 2 sc in next st in M, 1 sc in next st in B, repeat to end. Join with B.

Round 7: With M ch 1, 2 sc in next st in M, 1 sc in next 5 st’s in M, 2 sc in next st in M, 1 sc in next st in B, repeat to end. Join with yellow.

Round 8: With M ch 1, 1 sc in next 9 st’s, 1 sc in next st in B, repeat to end. Join with B.

Round 9: With M ch 1, 1 sc in next 3 st’s, 1sc in next st in B, 1 sc in next st in M, 1sc in next st in B, 1 sc in next 3 st’s in M, repeat to end. Join with B.

Round 10: With B ch 1, 1sc in next st, *1 sc in next 2 st’s in M, 2 sc in next st in B, 2 sc in next st in M, 2 sc in next st in B,  1 sc in next 2 st’s in M, 1 sc in next 2 st’s in B, *repeat to end. Join with yellow.

Round 11: With B ch 1, *1 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 2 st’s in M, 1sc in next 2 st’s in B, 1 sc in next st in M, 2 sc in next st in M, 1 sc in next 2 st’s in B, 1sc in next 2 st’s in M,  1 sc in next 2 st’s in B, * repeat to end. Join with yellow.

Round 12: With B ch 1, 1 sc in next st, *1sc in next 2 st’s in M, 1 sc in next 2 st’s in B, 2 sc in next st in M, 1 sc in next st in M, 2 sc in next st in M,  1 sc in next 2 st’s in B, * repeat to end. Join with B.

Round 13: With B ch 1, 1 sc in next st in B, *1 sc in next 2 st’s in M, 1 sc in next 2 st’s in B, 2 sc in next st in M, 1 sc in next 3 st’s in M, 2 sc in next st in M,  1 sc in next 2 st’s in B, * repeat to end. Join with B.
