Ch 4, join.

Row 1: 3 hdc, ch 2, 3 hdc in ring.

 

Row 2: Ch 1, 2 hdc in first st, 1 hdc in next 2 st’s, 2 hdc, ch 2, 2 hdc in ch space, 1 dc in next 2 st’s, 2 hdc in last st.

 

Repeat 2 hdc in first st, 2 hdc, ch 2, 2 hdc in ch 2 space, 2 hdc in last st. 1 hdc in each st in between (these st’s will increase with every row) continue the repeat until shawl is as long as you like.

 

Hood

Join the ends together and do 1 hdc all the way around, after you have gone around then you will… Sl st, ch1, 1 hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st, repeat to end.

 

Last you will do 1 hdc in each st all the way around, repeat until hood is above your head.

Row 1: 6 sc in ring. (6)

Row 2” 2 sc in each st. (12)

Row 3: 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (18)

Row 4: 1 sc in next 2 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (24)

Row 5: 1 sc in next 3 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (30)

Row 6: 1 sc in next 4 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (36)

Row 7: 1 sc in next 5 st’s, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (42)

Time to add eyes and mouth, add eyes between row 5-6 starting from the side, add mouth between row 4-5 starting from the bottom.

Row 8-10: With black, 1 sc in each st. (42)

Row 11-13: With yellow, 1 sc in each st. (42)
