Winter Hat




Materials
1Bernat Baby Blanket Tiny Pebble Path Yarn
1 Caron One Pound White Yarn
Size H-8mm Crochet Hook
Yarn Needle
Scissors

Note:  I used 2 yarns because it was a bit difficult to work with the Bernat yarn, once I started it became hard to see where the st’s were.

Hat
Ch 4, Join, Use stitch marker
Rnd 1: 9 hdc in ring
Rnd 2: Work 2 hdc into each st around, (18)
 Rnd 3: 2 hdc in first stitch, hdc in next, Repeat around (27)
Rnd 4: 2 hdc in first stitch, hdc next 2, Repeat around (36)
Rnd 5: 2 hdc in first stitch, hdc in next 3, Repeat around (45)
Rnd 6: 2 hdc in first stitch, hdc in next 4, Repeat around (54)
Rnd 7: 2 Hdc in first stitch, hdc in next 5, Repeat around (63)
Rnd 8: 2 Hdc in first stitch, hdc in next 6, Repeat around (72)
Rnd 9 -21: hdc in each stitch around (72)
To make the ridge you want to front post and back post around the hat for 2 more rounds. Enjoy.

Toddler Warm Mittens


Supplies:

Big Twist Sincerely Yarn/Navy Blue Denim
H/5.0 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
Scissors

Instructions (make 2)

Ch 6, Join
Round 1: Ch 1, Work 10 hdc, join(10)
Round 2: Ch 1, 2 hdc in each stitch around, join (20)
Round 3-10: Ch 1, hdc around, join (20)
Round 11: Ch 1, hdc in next st, ch 6, skip 2 stitches and hdc around, join (18 hdc + 6 ch stitches-this creates the thumb hole)
Round 12: Ch 1, hdc around, join (24)
Round 13: Ch 1, hdc in 4, hdc 2tog, repeat around, join (20)
Round 14: Ch 1, hdc in 3, hdc 2tog, repeat around, join (16)
Round 15: Ch 1, hdc around, join (16)
Round 16-18: Ch 2, fpdc in next st, bpdc in next st, repeat around (16)
Finish off.
Attaching the thumb:
Round 1: Attach yarn into the thumb hole with a sl st. Ch 1, and work 12 hdc around the thumb hole. (12)
Round 2: Ch 1, hdc around (12)
Round 3: Ch 1, hdc in next 5 st’s, hdc 2tog, repeat around (10)
Round 4: Ch 1, hdc in next 4 st’s, hdc 2tog, repeat around (8)
Round 5: Ch 1, hdc in next 3 st’s, hdc 2tog, repeat around (6)

Eskimo Hat



Note: This hat is for a baby, if you would like to make this hat bigger you can increase the number of hdc you put in the ring but make sure it is a even number.

Materials

Crochet Hook H
Big Twist Gray and Bernat Pipsqueak Whitey White

Note: Make second hat in white

Ch, 4
Round 1: 8 hdc in ring, use st market. (8)
Round 2: 2 hdc in each st. (16)
Round 3: 2 hdc in first st, hdc in next st, repeat to end. (24)
Round 4: 2 hdc in first st, hdc in next 2st’s, repeat to end. (32)
Round 5: 2 hdc in first st, hdc in next 3st’s, repeat to end. (40)
Round 6: 2 hdc in first st, hdc in next 4st’s, repeat to end. (48)
Round 7: 2 hdc in first st, hdc in next 5sts, repeat to end. (56)
Round 8: 2 hdc in first st, hdc in next 6st’s, repeat to end. (64)
Round 9-20: hdc in each st. (64)

Side Flaps

Round 1: 1 hdc in next 8 st’s
Round 2- 8: Ch 1, hdc in each st.
Finish off.  Do same thing to other side.

Front Flap

Attach yarn to whatever side you choose to be the front of your hat with a sl st.
Round 1: hdc in same st as sl st and in next 23 st’s, turn
Round 2-10: Ch 1, hdc in each st. Finish off.

Back Flap

Attach yarn to back of hat with a sl st.
Round 1: hdc in same st as sl st and in next 23 st’s, turn
Round 2-4: Ch 1, hdc in each st. Finish off.

When both hats are made put white hat inside gray hat and sc crochet them together with the white yarn. Then sc front flap to hat.

Materials:

Ch 35 with black

Rounds 1 – Skip first 2 ch, hdc in 3rd ch from hook, hdc in next 31, 4 hdc in last ch. Continuing on other side of ch, hdc in 32 ch, 2 hdc in 1st skipped ch at beginning of round. Sl st in top of 2nd ch.

Rounds 2 – Ch 2, 2 hdc in ea of next 2 hdc, hdc in next 31 hdc, 2 hdc in ea of next 2 hdc, hdc in next hdc, 2 hdc in each of next 2 hdc, hdc in next 31 hdc, 2 hdc in each of next 2 hdc. Sl st in top of ch 2.

Rounds 3 – Ch 2, hdc in next 2 hdc, 2 hdc in ea of next 2 hdc, hdc in next 32 hdc, 2 hdc in ea of next 2 hdc, hdc in next 4 hdc, 2 hdc in ea of next 2 hdc, hdc in next 32 hdc, 2 hdc in ea of next 2 hdc, 1 hdc in next hdc. Sl st in top of ch 2.

Rounds 6 – Ch 2, hdc in next 7 hdc, 2 hdc in ea of next 2 hdc, hdc in next 38 hdc, 2 hdc in ea of next 2 hdc, hdc in next 10 hdc, 2 hdc in ea of next 2 hdc, hdc in next 38 hdc, 2 hdc in ea of next 2 hdc, hdc in next 2 hdc. Sl st in top of Ch 2.

Rounds 7 – Ch 1, sl st in ea hdc.

Rounds 8 – Ch 1,(work in back loops only) sc in each hdc.
For the next part of this purse I follow this pattern, each dot is a st, the lines on the pattern is where I stop and ended.  So there are 20 st's in black on the sides of the purse. I got this pattern from alltapestrycrochet.com/patterns/ when you get to the site click on read more under patterns and scroll down you will see the pattern I used. It would be best to print it out.

 
You will be adding the second color, you will which in between the colors. When you have to which colors make sure you finish the last st before your new color with the new color.

Purse Handles- Make 2
Ch 141, With black

Row 1-4: Ch 1,1 sc in each ch.

Row 5: Slip stitch the top and bottom rows together to form a tube. Join both ends of the tube, to form a circle.

Ch 36, With yellow

Row 1-10: Ch 1,1 sc in each st.

Row 11: Form a roll around the tube and sew together.

Ch 3, With yellow Make 2

Row 1: Ch 1, 2sc in 2ch from hook and in next ch. (3)

Row 2: Ch 1, sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, sc in last st. (4)

Row 3: Ch 1, sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, 1sc in next 2 st’s. (5)

Row 4: Ch 1, 1 sc in next 2 st’s, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 2 st’s. (6)

Row 5-16: Ch1, 1 sc in each st.

Row 17: Ch 1, 1 sc in next 2 st’s,  sc dec in next st, 1 sc in next 2 st’s. (5)

Row 18: Ch 1, sc in next st, sc dec in next st, 1sc in next 2 st’s. (4)

Row 19: Ch 1, sc in next st, sc dec in next st, sc in last st. (3)

Row 20: Work a crab stitch around to finish off. Add to handling and sew on purse. Enjoy.
