Spiral Hat

This pattern is toddle size, and uses front post double crochets (fpdc), double crochets (dc).  It works in rounds to form the beanie. If you need this hat to be smaller or bigger take away dc's for smaller hat and increase for bigger hat.



 I used Big Twist Yarn and Crochet Hook I:

Note: Join yarn when there are two loops on the hooks. If you need help add color to your spiral hat check out the video below.

 Chain 8, sl st to first ch


Round 1:  Ch 2, 15 dc into ring

Round 2: Ch 2, 1 fpdc in every dc (15 sts) join to the top of the ch 2.

Round 3: Ch 2,  1 fpdc in every fpdc, 1 dc in each sp between the fpdc.  Repeat  (30 sts) join to the top of the ch 2.

Round 4: Ch 2, 1 fpdc in every fpdc, 2 dc in each sp between the fpdc and dc.  Repeat (45 sts) join to the top of the ch 2.

Rounds 5:  1 fpdc in every fpdc, 3 dc in each sp between the fpdc and dc.  Repeat (60 sts) join to the top of the ch 2.

Round 6: 1 fpdc in every fpdc, 4 dc in each sp between the fpdc and dc.  Repeat  join to the top of the ch 2. (75)

Rounds 7-19: Repeat round 6, Tie off and weave in ends.  Done!

Toddler Hoodie

Materials:
H Hook
Zipper 12in or 30cm
Yarn Needles
Yarn- pick two colors

Note: You are making two hoodies and sewing them together, so make two one with two colors and one with one color, the one with one color is the inner hoodie. So you will sew the two together with the two-ed color one on the out side.
Body:

Ch 89, With Gray.

Row 1: Hdc in next 12 chs, Hdc-Ch 1-Hdc in next ch, Hdc in next 15 chs, Hdc- Ch 1-Hdc in next ch, Hdc in next 30 chs, Hdc- Ch 1-Hdc in next ch, Hdc in next 15 chs, Hdc- Ch1-Hdc in next ch, Hdc in last 12 chs. With Gray.

Row 2-7: Ch1, turn Hdc in each Hdc, putting 1 Hdc- Ch 1-Hdc in each Ch 1 sp. 2 rows with gray, 3 rows with turquoise and one more row with gray.

Note: When doing row 8 try not to twist your work.

Row 8: Ch1, turn hdc across to ch 1 sp, hdc in sp, skip to next sp, hdc in sp and each hdc to next sp, hdc in sp, skip to next sp, hdc in sp and to end. With gray.

Row 9: Ch 1, turn, hdc in each st to underarm put 2hdc in each of  the 2 underarm st's, hdc across, repeat for second underarm, hdc to end , with gray.

Row 10-45: Ch 1, turn, hdc in each st to end. Switching between turquoise and gray 3 rows for each color.

Hoodie:
Join Yarn, at top corner of hoodie.

Row 1-30: Ch 1, hdc around turn. Starting with turquoise switching between each color, 3 rows for each color.

Note: Once you have reached 10in or how ever long you need the hood to be turn hood inside out and slip st together then turn right side in.

Trim:
Attach yarn at either end and sc all the way around hoodie. 

Note: Once you have both hoodies sewed together then you will add the zipper by sewing it on. 

 

Baby Jacket

MATERIALS:

Size I 5.5mm hook

Row 1: dc in 4th ch from hook and next 6 chs, DC ch 1 DC in next st, DC in next 10chs, DC ch 1 DC in next st, DC in next 20 chs, DC ch1 DC in next st, DC in next 10 chs, DC ch1 DC in next ch, DC in last 6 chs.

Rows 2-7: ch 2 turn, DC in each DC, putting DC ch1 DC in each ch1 space.

Row 8: Ch 1 turn, sc across to first ch1 sp, sc in space, skip to next sp, sc in space and each dc across to next sp, sc in sp, skip to next sp, sc in sp and each st across to end. (Armholes made.)

Row 9: ch 2 turn, dc in each st to underarm, put 2dc in each of 2 underarm sts. Dc across, repeat for second underarm, dc to end.

Rows 10-30: ch 2, dc around, Finish off

Note: You can make it as long as you like.

Arms: 
With black, join yarn anywhere.

Row 1: Dc in every st, make are as long as you need last two rows should be done in white, repeat for other arm.


Bottom and Neck trim:
Join anywhere with white, do two rows of sc.  Finish off.
