Flower Crown

Materials
Yarn needle
Crochet hook H-5.0 mm
Yarn- you can use what every color you want just make sure the yarn is not to thick or not to thin you want the yarn to be in the middle, some of the yarn I would suggest for this project is Big Twist, Red Heart and Caron One Pounder.

Seamless Round
Step 1: Stop at the end of a round, right before closing the round with a slip stitch.

Step 2: Take the hook *out* of the current loop and insert the hook in the space where you would normally make the slip stitch to close the round.

Step 3: Take the loop that you pulled off the hook in Step 2, and pull it back onto the hook, such that the loop is now behind the fabric. (You might want to tug on the yarn a bit if this loop has become loose)

Step 4: Make your slip stitch using the new color. Continue to the next round using the new color. You want to make sure to do the same thing when coming back round just use the same color.

Note: When changing colors use seamless round at the being and end of that round.

Note: You may want to use a st marker.

Popee The Performer Costume

Popee The Performer is a 2001 children's' Anime Widget Series and directorial debut of Ryuji Masuda. Set in a circus in the middle of the desert. Popee wears a white and pink/red striped onesie with a longish cat tail, along with a pink rabbit hat and a blue satchel. My daughter decide she wanted to be Popee for Halloween and since Halloween is not to far I thought I would get started now to give my my self lots of time to get it right.

Things You Will Need

I started off with a I hook , Caron One Pound red, white, pink, yellow and blue yarn , Stuffing,  felt also a zipper 16".

My daughter is going on 13 if you need a smaller size use a smaller hook or a thinner yarn if the smaller hook wont work with the Caron yarn.

Instruction

Note: I did 3 row of one color and changed to the next color and did 3 rows of that color.
Body:
Ch,68
Row 1-3: Ch 1, 1hdc in each st
Row 4: Ch 1, 1 hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st, repeat to end
Row 5-8: Ch1, hdc in each st
Row 9: Ch 1, hdc in the next 3 st's. *2hdc in next st, hdc in the next 2 st's* – repeat to end. Row 10-15: Ch 1, hdc in each st
Row 16: Ch 1, hdc in next 13 st's, *2 hdc in next, hdc in next 10* repeat to end.
Row 17: Ch 1, hdc in each st

Count out from both sides 23sts, then 26sts, mark with st marker.

Row 18: Ch 1, hdc in each st to first marker, ch 30 for underarm, join with hdc at next marker, hdc to next marker, Ch 30 for second underarm, join with hdc , hdc to end.

Row 19: Ch 1, hdc in each st until body is the length you need before starting the legs.

Row 20: To start the legs you need to hdc the middle together, the way I did this was I had my daughter try it on and used safety pins to hold the middle together to make sure it fit right then hdc where the safety pins were.
stop holding both sides together and hdc on only one side, you have just started your first leg. You want make sure you do the same thin to the other side to started the second leg.

Now it's time to make the arms, you will start off with the same color yarn on the arm hole. Attach your yarn in the corner and hdc around once you have done one set of color ( a set is 3 rows of one color) you will skip a st when attaching you new color and you will keep doing this until you finish the arm, this is how you will dec the arm since the arm is not just one size.
Now it's time to start the hood using pink, grab your yarn and join at the top of the costume and then just hdc chaining 1 each time you turn, so it would be Ch 1, hdc across repeat until it is over your child's head.

Now on to the ears
Rnd 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 6 sc.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around. 12 sts
Rnd 3: Sc in each st around. 12 sts
Rnd 4: Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st. 18 sts
Rnd 5: 2 sc in next st, Sc in next 2 sts. 24sts
Rnd 6: Sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st. 30 sts
Rnd 7 : 2 sc in next st, Sc in next 4 sts. 36 sts
Rnd 8: Sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc in next st. 42 sts
Rnds 9–22: Sc in each st around. 42 st
Rnd 23: Sc in next 4 sts, sc2tog, [Sc in next 8, sc2tog] 3 times sc in next 4, sc2tog. 38 sts
Rnds 24–27: Sc in each st around. 38sts
Rnd 28: Sc2tog,Sc in next 7 sts. 33sts
Rnds 29– 33: Sc in each st around. 33 sts
Rnd 34: Sc2tog,[ sc in next 6 sts, sc2tog] 3 times sc in next 7. 29sts
Rnds 35-38: Sc in each st around. 29sts
Rnd 39: [Sc in next 5 sts, sc2tog] sc in last st. 25sts
Rnds 40-52: Sc in each st around. Fasten off. Leave long tail for sewing. Make sure to stuff ears but not to much stuffing just enough to make the ears stand up.

Now you must do the yellow inside part of the ear, which you need yellow felt to do this part, I didn't have yellow felt but I did have white so I just used a yellow marker to colored the felt yellow and glued the felt on to the ear.
Now I will hand sew the zipper on, just because it is much easier than trying to stick the whole costume in the sewing machine.

Now we are moving on to the tail, the tail should be long but not so long it drags on the ground. Your going to ch, 5 join and put 8 sc in the ring.
Rnd 1: 2 sc in each st.
Rnd 2: 1 sc in each st until tail is as long as you want it.
