Pillow Cover


Materials
Bernat: Maker Outdoor Stripes
H Hook
Yarn needle
Scissors
Pillow

Cover
Ch 6
Row 1: Hdc in 4th ch from hook and in next 2 ch; turn – 1 block made.
Row 2: Ch 6, hdc in 4th ch from hook and
in next 2 ch, slip st, ch 3, 3 hdc all in ch-3 space of previous row; turn –2 blocks made.
Row 3: Ch 6, hdc in 4th ch from hook and in next 2 ch, slip st, ch 3, 3
hdc all in next ch-3 space of previous row; turn – 3 blocks made.
Row 4: Ch 6, hdc in 4th ch from hook and in next 2 ch, slip st, ch 3, 3 hdc all
in next ch-3 space of previous row; turn – 4 blocks made. Repeat until cover is half the size of your pillow.

Decrease
Slip st across first 3 hdc, * (slip st, ch 3, 3 hdc) all in next ch-3 space of previous row; repeat from * to last ch-3 space; slip st in last space; turn, do NOT make a block in last space. Repeat until cover is the same size of your pillow. Sc around cover, now make one more.

Now sew together bottom and sides, leaving top open to put in pillow once pillow is in sew the top closed and enjoy. You can also sc the cover together.

Yarn Basket


Materials
Yarn of your choice
H Hook
Yarn needle

Note: If you want a bigger bag you can use a bigger hook, or you can continue increasing the rows. 

Bottom
Round 1-Ch 5, Join 10 hdc in ring. (10 hdc) You might want to use a st market

Round 2- 2 hdc in each st. (20 hdc)

Round 3– 1 hdc in next st, 2 hdc in next st, repeat to end. (30 hdc)

Round 4 – 1 hdc in next 2 st’s, 2 hdc in next st, repeat to end. (40 hdc)

Round 5– 1 hdc in next 3 st’s, 2 hdc in next st, repeat to end. (50 hdc)

Round 6– 1 hdc in next 4 st’s, 2 hdc in next st, repeat to end. (60 hdc)

Round 7– 1 hdc in next 5 st’s, 2 hdc in next st, repeat to end. (70 hdc)

Round 8– 1 hdc in next 6 st’s, 2 hdc in next st, repeat to end. (80 hdc)

Round 9- 1 hdc in next 7 st’s, 2 hdc in next st, repeat to end. (90 hdc)

Round 10– 1 hdc in next 8 st’s, 2 hdc in next st, repeat to end. (100 hdc)

Round 11– 1 hdc in next 9 st’s, 2 hdc in next st, repeat to end. (110 hdc)

Round 12– 1 hdc in next 10 st’s, 2 hdc in next st, repeat to end. (120 hdc)

Round 13– 1 hdc in next 11 st’s, 2 hdc in next st, repeat to end. (130 hdc)

Round 14– 1 hdc in next 12 st’s, 2 hdc in next st, repeat to end. (140 hdc)

Round 15– 1 hdc in next 13 st’s, 2 hdc in next st, repeat to end. (150 hdc)

Round 16– 1 hdc in next 14 st’s, 2 hdc in next st, repeat to end. (160 hdc)

Round 17– 1 hdc in next 15 st’s, 2 hdc in next st, repeat to end. (170 hdc)

Cut and add new color

Round 18– sl st around. (170 sl st) Back loops only.

Round 19 – Ch 2, 1 hdc in each st, in back loops only, Join to ch 2. (170 hdc)

Cut and add new color

Round 20 – Ch 2, turn work, 1 dc in side st, repeat to end.

Round 21- Ch 2, 1 hdc in each st, repeat to end. Cut and change color.

Round 22- Ch 2, 1 hdc in each st, repeat to end.

Round 23- Ch 2, work, 1 dc in side st, repeat to end. Cut and add new color.


Round 24- Ch 2, 1 hdc in each st, repeat to end. Cut and add new color.


Round 25- Ch 2, 1 hdc in each st, repeat to end. Cut and add new color.

Round 26- Ch 2, work, 1 dc in side st, repeat to end.

Round 27- Ch 2, 1 hdc in each st, continue the color pattern of 2 rounds of white, 1 round of blue green, 1 round of blue and 1 round of pink until basket is as tall as you like.  For the handles as you are doing your rounds you want to skip 20 st’s on both sides and just continue your pattern. Square1- Worked in Caron One Pound- Dark Grey Mix


Ch 2, 5 dc in 2 ch from hook, Join
Round 1: Ch 2, 3 dc in each st, Join (15)
Round 2: Ch 3, 1 dc in next st, ch 1, repeat to end, Join. (15 dc) (16 ch)
Round 3: Ch 2, 2 dc in each ch space, 1 dc in each dc, Join. (47)
Round 4: *Ch 11, skip next 2 st’s, sc in third ch, ch 3 skip next 2 st’s, sc in next st, ch 5 skip next 2 st’s, sc in next st, ch 3 skip next 2 st’s, sc in next st*, repeat to end, for last ch 3 sc in sl st
Round 5: Ch 2, *4 dc, ch 3, 5 dc in next ch space, sc in next ch space, 7 dc in next ch space, sc in next ch space*, repeat to end, Join
Round 6: Ch 7, *1sc, ch 3, 1 sc in ch 3 space, ch 5, dc in sc, ch 3 sc in 4 dc, ch 3 dc in next sc, ch 5*, repeat to end join.
Round 7: Ch 2, *5 dc in next ch 5 space, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in next ch 3 space, 5 dc in next ch 5 space, 3 dc in next 2 ch 3 spaces*, repeat to end, Join to the second ch.
Round 8: Ch 1, sc in each st, putting 3 sc in each corner, join. Finish off, leave long tail for sewing.

Square 2

Round 1: Ch 3, 3 dc in 3rd ch from hook, ch 2, 3 dc in same st, ch 2, 3 dc in same st, ch 2, 3 dc in same st, ch 2, sl st into top of ch 3 to close.

Round 2- 10: Ch 2, 1 hdc in each st, putting 2 hdc, ch 1, 2 hdc, in each corner. Finish off
Now  you will need 16 of square 1 and 16 of square 2.  Now sew square 1 to square 2 , you will need 2 squares for bottom and sides, 4 squares for front and back and 2 squares for the top.


 Sew all parts together.

Strap
Ch 11, 1 sc in each st until it is your desired length
