What You Need:

Yarn – Red Heart Retro, Red Heart Black

Pattern

Round 1: With black, ch 5, join 10 dc in ring

Round 2. Ch 2, with retro, hdc in next st, with black Fpdc in same st, with retro hdc in next st, repeat to end, join in hdc (20)

Note: Hdc are worked in hdc and fpdc are worked in fpdc, make sure you’re putting the colors in the right st.

Round 3: Ch 2, 2 hdc in each hdc, 1 fpdc in each fpdc. (10 fpdc, 20 hdc)

Round 4: Ch 2, *1 hdc in next hdc and 2 hdc in next hdc*, 1 fpdc in each fpdc, (10 fpdc, 30 hdc)

Round 5: Ch 2, *1 hdc in next 2 hdc and 2 hdc in next hdc*, 1 fpdc in each fpdc, (10 fpdc, 40 hdc)

Round 6: Ch 2, *1 hdc in next 3 hdc and 2 hdc in next hdc*, 1 fpdc in each fpdc, (10 fpdc, 50 hdc)

Round 7: Ch 2, *1 hdc in next 4 hdc and 2 hdc in next hdc*, 1 fpdc in each fpdc, (10 fpdc, 60 hdc)

Round 8-21: Ch 2, 1hdc in each hdc, 1 fpdc in each fpdc, (10 fpdc, 60 hdc)

Round 10: With black, ch 2, fpdc in every fpdc, with retro, 4 hdc in the first space between fpdc and dc (15 fpdc, 15 4hdc) Repeat round 10 six more times.

In black do 1 sc all the way around making sure to put the fpdc in the fpdc.

Horns-Make 2

Round 1: 5 sc in ring- Reto

Round 2: 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 4 st’s - Reto

Round 3: 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 4 st’s- Black

Yarn- Color of your choice- I used ZZ Twist Dark Purple and Red, also Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton White

Note: ZZ Twist has been discontinued so a substitute is Schachenmayr Catania or Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK

 

Pocket Book

We will star off by using are piercing Hook and dark purple you will sc to the end then ch 4 and continue sc on the other side to the end and ch 4 sc on other side and sl st.

 

Now we will which to are 3.5 hook and do the first part of are star st. Then do the second part of the star st. Then with white 1 sc in each st.

 Now it’s just a repeat of star st and sc.

 

Unzip the pocketbook and turn it inside and sc the bottom together.
