Round 1: Ch 2, 8 sc in second ch from hook. (8)

 

Round 2: 2 sc in ea st. (16)

 

Round 3: 1 sc in ea st. (16)

Round 4: 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in nest st, repeat to end. (24)

Rounds 5-11: Sc in ea st, sl st in last st you sc in. (24)

Round 12: 1 Sc in ea st blo, sl st to join. (24)

Round 13: 2 sc in ea st around (would be outside of hat). (48)

 

Round 14: 1sc in next 3sts, 2 sc in next st, repeat to end. (60)

Round 15: 1 sc in next 4sts, 2 sc in nest st, repeat to end. (72)

Leave a very long tail for sewing, push in middle of hat to give hat a dip, using your yarn needle, on side of the inside of hat push in down hat and right at the bottom base of hat sew through the base and middle and other side of hat. Now use yarn needle to bring yarn back up to the st’s.

  

 

          Round 16: Sl st each st, make sure inside of hat is facing you. You rest of tail for sewing if needed.
