Materials
Hook H 5.0
Yarn Needle
Yarn- ZZ Twist- Lion Brand

Blanket
Row 1: Ch 5, 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook, 1 hdc in each of next 2 ch, turn. First block made.
Row 2: Ch 5, 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook, 1 hdc in each of next 2 ch, skip next 3 hdc, sl st, ch 2, 3 hdc in next ch-2 space, 2 blocks made, turn. Continue increasing until you have 29 blocks.  Row 30 is where I started my koi.
Note: I have increased the size of my graph by 2, so for ever 1 block I do 2 blocks, and each row is 2 rows.
1 Block = 2 Blocks
1 Row= 2 Rows.

To Decrease- Sl st in next 3 hdc. Sl st in ch-2 space then continue following pattern to last ch-2 space then sl st in last ch-2 space. turn. Repeat to last row, you will have 1 block left.
This is the Graph I used but I took out the lily pads, I found this graph online, but I think the origin one is here you can use any one you like.

After I finished the Koi, I did a kaleidoscope style around the koi.

Kaleidoscope
Round 1 - Join your yarn on any corner point ch 1, hdc 2together, 1 hdc in each st to last 2 st’s, hdc 2together, repeat to end and for each corner, finish off.
Round 2 – 3Ch 2, 1 hdc in each st, putting 2 hdc, ch 2, 2 hdc in each corner. Join with a sl st.
Round 4Repeat round 1.
Round 5 – Repeat round 2-3.
You can continue to do this until the blanket is as big as you want it.

Flower Crown

Materials
Yarn needle
Crochet hook H-5.0 mm
Yarn- you can use what every color you want just make sure the yarn is not to thick or not to thin you want the yarn to be in the middle, some of the yarn I would suggest for this project is Big Twist, Red Heart and Caron One Pounder.

Seamless Round
Step 1: Stop at the end of a round, right before closing the round with a slip stitch.

Step 2: Take the hook *out* of the current loop and insert the hook in the space where you would normally make the slip stitch to close the round.

Step 3: Take the loop that you pulled off the hook in Step 2, and pull it back onto the hook, such that the loop is now behind the fabric. (You might want to tug on the yarn a bit if this loop has become loose)

Step 4: Make your slip stitch using the new color. Continue to the next round using the new color. You want to make sure to do the same thing when coming back round just use the same color.

Note: When changing colors use seamless round at the being and end of that round.

Crown
Note: You may want to use a st marker.
