The Rainbow Candy Dress is Finished!

Simple Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 3/4 cup milk

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tbsp melted butter (or ghee)

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Mix the ingredients:
In a mixer or large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, milk, egg, melted butter (ghee), and vanilla extract (if using). Mix until everything is combined. Don't overmix—it's okay if the batter is a little lumpy!

  2. Heat the pan:
Place a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil.

  3. Cook the pancakes:

    • Pour about ¼ cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake.

    • Cook until bubbles appear on the surface and the edges look set (about 2 minutes).

    • Flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes until golden brown.

The pancakes on top are a thicker batter which makes them fluffier and the ones on the bottom have a thinner batter, I used milk to make the batter thinner. Just remember  the thicker the batter the longer it will take to cook.

  4. Serve and enjoy:
Stack the pancakes and serve with your favorite toppings—syrup, butter, fruit, or whipped cream.
