Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars

 


 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup natural peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)

  • 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup if you prefer)

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate

  • Optional:

    • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

    • Pinch of sea salt

    • 1–2 tbsp chia seeds or ground flaxseed for extra nutrition


Instructions:

  1. Mix wet ingredients: In a bowl, combine the peanut butter, honey, and vanilla (if using). Stir until smooth.

  2. Add almond flour: Mix in the almond flour and salt (if using). Stir until it forms a dough-like consistency.

  3. Shape it: Press the mixture into a parchment-lined loaf or square pan and smooth the top.

  4. Add chocolate: Melt 1/2 cup chocolate chips with 1 tsp oil or butter (for that smooth, shiny finish) Microwave in short bursts. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the bars.

  5. Chill: Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes until firm.

  6. Store: Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage.
