Cabbage
has so many benefits for health, cabbage contains only 22 calories, 1
gram of protein, 2 grams of fiber, 85% vitamin k, 54% of vitamin c, 10%
folate, 7% manganese, 6% vitamin B6, 4% calcium, 4%
potassium, 3% magnesium, cabbage also contains small amounts vitamin A,
iron and riboflavin. The best thing about this recipe is that you cook
everything in the same pot. Also you can freeze the leftovers the only
thing you need is to thaw and reheat and that's a super time-saving for a
busy weeknight meal!

Ready in: 1 hour 10 min
Yields: Serves 5 people
Ingredients
- 2 sticks carrots, chopped
- 2 sticks celery, chopped
- half onions, chopped
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon onion power
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon pepper
- 1 tablespoon oregano, crushed
- 1 cup water
Instructions
Chop
all vegetables, that's carrots, onions and celery into small pieces. If
you like you can add potatoes and any other vegetables you like at this
point. If you want to make this meal a little faster you can use caned
vegetables that way there is no chopping and no waiting for them to get
soft.
In a big pot (with some non stick spray or you may use butter) add all ingredients except the ground meat and water, you want to cook the vegetables until they are soft.

After all vegetables are nice and soft then add ground turkey and cook until there is no more pink in the meat.
Once everything is done add the water and let simmer for 10 to 20 min,
then you can sever your cabbage stew. This dish is great on it's own but
I did add some side dishes like macaroni and cheese and corn on the
cob, you can add you own side dishes or you can eat it just the way it
is.
