5.0 mm crochet hook

Abbreviations:

Ch: Chain

St: Stitch

Sl st: Slip stitch

Sc: Single crochet

Dc: Double crochet

Fptr: Front Post Treble

 

Pattern

Ch 120, Join

Round 1: Ch 2, 1 dc in each ch. Sl st

Round 2: Ch 1, 1 sc in each st. Sl st

Round 3: Ch 3, fptr in the next dc from the previous round, 1 dc in next st, skip next post, repeat to end. Sl st

 

Round 4: Ch 1, 1 sc in each st. Sl st

Round 5: Ch 3, fptr in the next dc from the previous round, 1 dc in next st, repeat to end. Sl st

Round 6: Repeat rounds 4-5

Turn bag inside out and sew the bottom of the bag closed stitch by stitch.

Position the bag so that the seam is centered. Measure and mark a 7-in line across the corner of the base. Do this for the other corner. Sew a seam across each corner. 

 

Now we will do the inside of the bag, we will do the same thing we did to the first bag just do sc instead of fptr and dc. First, we will ch 120 and fellow the pattern up above but only doing sc, once you get to the box corners you will not turn the bag inside out.

 

Now you will sew the inside corners together.

 

Now add your Velcro then sc the two bags together.

 

Now we move on to the handles, ch 9 sc back and forth switching in-between the colors 3 rows for each color, continue sc until the handle is 36 inches. Make 2.

 

Sew handles on to bag.

 

Sunflower

 

Center (Brown Yarn):

Round 1: Ch 2, work 8 sc into the second ch. (8 sc)

Round 2: 2 sc in each st around. (16 sc)

Round 3: 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st, around. (24 sc)

Fasten off and weave in ends.

 

Petals (Yellow Yarn):

Round 1: Attach yellow yarn in any st from the last round of the center. Ch 1, sc in next st, ch 5, skip next st. Repeat from * to * around. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (55 ch-11 loops)

Round 2: Sl st into the first ch-5 loop, ch 1, 9 dc in the loop, sc into the sc from the previous round. Repeat from * to * around. Join with a sl st to the first sl st. (12 petals)

Fasten off and leave long tail for sewing.

Yarn- Simply Soft- Blue Mint, White and Royal Blue

 

Body

Sizing as follows: XS (SM, MD, LG, 1X) (2X, 3X, 4X, 5X)

                    Ch 47 (53, 59, 65, 73) (79, 85, 91, 99)

Front

Row 1: Ch 65

Row 2: 1 sc in each st, switching in-between your colors (4 rows of each color) continue until back is as tall as you need. Once you have half the length you want you will start to decrease on each end until you have enough for your neckline.

 

Now you sew or sc up the sides all the way to where you started decreasing, going to the top corner ch as many as you need to make the tank top fit you, then you will connect to the other corner to make the arm hole, sc around the arm hole to make it a bit thicker, do this for both sides.
